Hard work and a fantastic team of people organised the 1st big event the club has seen
Congratulation to Charlie Tavener (Vice Chairman) who was the Team Leader for this event and proved to be invaluable as did his team of volunteers.
Thank you to all that gave up there time to organise and support the club on the day.
CELEBRITY VISITS THE CLUB
Tuesday 24th June a well known celebrity in the Rugby League World visited the club. Brian McDermott Head Coach for Harlequins received a warm welcome at the club. Brian came down to cut the grass with our new lawn mower and give some valuable coaching tips to our U16’s.

THE CHALLENGE CUP - A Packed Club House!
The Challenge Cup arrived at the club Thursday 17/4/08 to a packed crowd and was a great success. Many fans and supporters of Rugby League came down to have their photos taken. Special appearance by Rikki Sheriffe (Quins RL Professional) saw him swamped by our U12's & U13's who were delighted to line up and have photos taken and their shirts signed.
